A Love Letter
to the Bold One Becoming…
From Rachel Marie Hurst – Founder
If you’ve landed here, I already know something about you:
You’re dreaming of more.
More confidence.
More clarity.
More of your damn self.
Maybe you don’t always feel bold yet.
Maybe you’ve been told to play small, to fit in, to quiet down.
I’ve been there.
And I built this space—this Haus—for you.
Let me tell you how I got here.
I was raised by a single mom, the oldest of four, hustling before I hit my teens.
I started my own babysitting business at 12 so I could help my family, buy my own clothes, and have some sense of power in a world that often told me I had none.
Fashion wasn’t the plan. Pre-med was.
Until I realized I hated scrubs, fainted at the thought of dead bodies (no, seriously), and couldn’t quiet the voice inside me whispering: “What if you chased something you actually loved?”
So I said yes to the unknown.
I taught myself to sew. I begged professors to teach me the rest.
I stapled together outfits for my first fashion show—and even though it was a mess, I felt alive.
That feeling never left.
I’ve since built fashion collections, opened a boutique, worked with women of all shapes and shades, and stood on stages I once dreamed of. But through it all, one thing remains:
My mission is to help you dress like the woman you’re becoming—long before the world catches up.
What drives me?
You.
The quiet, creative powerhouse you’re becoming.
The girl who works the night shift and still finds time to dream.
The woman rewriting her story—through style, through strength, through sheer will.
You see, we believe fashion is medicine for the soul.
We believe in curves and corsets. Lace and leather. Reinvention and rebellion.
We believe you are already enough.
And that getting dressed should feel like slipping into your next chapter.
So what is this place?
It’s a love letter.
A mood board.
A movement.
It’s is your space to learn, grow, shop, cry a little, and laugh at your own power.
If you came looking for a traditional About Me page…
you won’t find it here.
But if you came looking for permission to begin?
You’ve had it all along.
Welcome home.
With fire and lace,
Rachel Marie Hurst
