Alter Époque: The Art of Reclaiming What They Overlooked

They said it was outdated.
Too worn. Too broken. Not worth saving.

But we saw something different.
We saw a second chance. A new story.
A crown buried beneath dust and denim.

Alter Époque isn’t just upcycled fashion. It’s a resurrection.
It’s the art of reclaiming what they threw away and turning it into something unforgettable.

The Mission

Alter Époque was born out of necessity.
As a boutique owner, I couldn’t ignore the truth: fashion is one of the most wasteful industries in the world.

I didn’t want to be another contributor to overproduction—to racks of beautiful garments that don’t sell, ending up forgotten or discarded.

So I made a choice. A commitment.

Some of the pieces in Alter Époque come directly from old RMH and M. Bolden collections—reborn, reworked, and completely reimagined.

Because I believe fashion deserves more than one chance to be loved.

This isn’t just sustainability.
This is intention
This is healing through design.

The Philosophy: Nothing Wasted

We don’t just reuse.
We reimagine.

Every jacket. Every scrap. Every stitch is a reminder:
You are allowed to evolve. You are allowed to be seen.
You don’t need to be new to be powerful.

There’s royalty in being reclaimed.

The Heart of It All

Alter Époque was born from the desire to create more than clothes.
It was born to create legacy. And to teach others to do the same.

We host upcycling classes so you can learn how to rewrite the story of your own wardrobe.
Because the world doesn’t need more fast fashion.
It needs more meaning. More history. More art.

We’re not here to chase trends.
We’re here to change the narrative.

So the next time someone calls something outdated, remember—it might just need a second look.
